Specialist podiatry · Glasgow
Verruca needling in Glasgow.
A treatment option for suitable persistent verrucas, considered after a proper podiatry assessment.
Needling is not the right first step for every verruca. Begin with a 45-minute routine podiatry first appointment (£72). We assess the lesion, your health and what you have already tried, then explain whether conservative care, Swift microwave therapy, needling or another route is the most sensible option. Any further treatment is charged separately.

What happens next.
Your podiatrist checks the diagnosis, discusses your medical history and explains the procedure, alternatives, likely aftercare and costs before you decide. If needling is not appropriate, we will say so and guide you to the better route.
Confirm the problem
We examine the area and make sure the appointment route matches what is actually present.
Choose together
Needling is considered alongside other evidence-informed options, not sold as the answer for everyone.
Leave clear
You receive practical aftercare guidance and know when, or whether, a review is needed.
